Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Meet some of our experienced ANPs

  • Eleanor Warrington
    Advanced Nurse Practitioner

I qualified as a nurse in 2004. I have a background of working in a busy Emergency Department before moving into the community as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner 10 years ago. My passion is Clinical Supervision and supporting advanced clinical practitioners from differing backgrounds. I still work in my day job in a community setting where I manage a team of community practitioners and advanced practice nurses.

I enjoy working for DCA as the flexibility of the shifts enable me to achieve a positive work life balance as well as maintaining my skills within the advanced practice arena.

  • Hannah Lines
    Advanced Nurse Practitioner

My background in nursing includes joining the NMC register in 2006 after completing an adult nursing degree whilst working as an auxiliary nurse in an acute hospital trust. Since qualifying I have worked in acute orthopaedics, emergency care (in a regional trauma centre), urgent care and now primary care. I started working as a nurse practitioner in urgent care where I qualified as a non-medical prescriber and completed a master’s in advanced practice including modules to support my work with both adults and children. I now split my time working between the NHS in primary care and Doctor Care Anywhere. I love how Doctor Care Anywhere allows me to provide such accessible healthcare using all the latest and innovative digital technology.

Clinical Governance

/ All our ANPs activity is overseen by our Clinical Governance Board who make sure that everything is done to the highest, most professional standard possible.

/ With decades of first-class clinical primary care experience in both the NHS and private sector, they provide impartial and external advice and guidance to our ANPs and in-house clinical team.

/ More information about our governance can be found here.

/ All our ANPs are championed by a robust support structure led by the Head of Advanced Clinical Practice, and supported by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Service Leads.

/ Regular learning & development and team meetings are held to ensure the ACP team are fulfilled in their role with us and empowered to utilise their expertise and experience for the benefit of our patients.
