This means employees can access expert help and advice wherever they are in the UK, seven days a week, with no need to call for appointments and no trips to the surgery.  They can book a time that suits them and obtain early diagnosis and treatment, resulting in reduced travel, quicker recovery time and fewer sick days at work. Plus, medication can be delivered to home, work, or a local pharmacy.  

GP appointment wait times are higher than pre-pandemic levels and the average waiting time for an appointment is currently over a week in the UK (NHS England, 2024).  Through the partnership, employees can enjoy the peace of mind of having a doctor on hand, wherever they need one and without having to wait, with appointments available within a few hours via a dedicated app or online.
