What is an Open Referral?
An Open Referral is when your GP or ACP refers you to a specialist for further care but doesn't specify a particular doctor or clinic. Instead, you have the freedom to choose where you'd like to receive your treatment—whether that's with a private specialist or through an NHS facility offering private services.
You can work with your private health insurance provider or care coordinator to find the best specialist for your needs.

Medical Letters
Need a medical letter quickly? Doctor Care Anywhere can help. Whether it's for a health assessment, work, travel, or other urgent needs, Doctor Care Anywhere offers same-day medical letters. Just provide the required information before 9pm, and you'll receive your letter that same day – seven days a week.

Please note that if you prefer to use NHS services for diagnostics, you’ll need to contact your NHS GP directly for a referral, as NHS imaging departments won’t accept private referrals.

After filling out a short online questionnaire, you can choose a therapist who fits your needs and schedule your first session. Therapy sessions happen on HelloSelf’s secure platform, which helps you set goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones.
