Frequently asked

Can I get a same day appointment?

Most of our patients can get an appointment on the same day.

Can Nuffield Health Virtual GP treat emergencies?

No, Nuffield Health Virtual GP is not a medical emergency service. If you have an medical emergency, please either call 999 or visit your local A&E.

Can I speak to a doctor when I am abroad?

You can speak to one of our doctors wherever you are in the world. Prescription fulfillment support is dependent on local laws but we will help as much as we can. In the UK and Europe prescriptions can be fulfilled in any pharmacy. Outside of Europe our doctors will give patients advice on the best medication to pick up locally. In countries where local laws prohibit the medication you need without a local doctor's prescriptions there is a delivery from the UK option to all our patients. Please note, these do incur often quite significant delivery charges and are subject to custom restrictions and delays.
