Patient care is our top priority. It's the foundation of our business and fundamental to all our work. It's a core aspect of our services and an area on which we will never compromise.
Our GPs are fully accredited and registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Additionally, they hold a Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or equivalent qualification and are on a UK National Performers List. All our doctors undergo a rigorous selection process prior to joining Doctor Care Anywhere, which includes specialist training in video and phone consulting so that the sessions they have with patients are as valuable and helpful as possible.
The online healthcare arena in which we operate is regulated by the CQC, the independent body in the UK responsible for companies’ adherence to strict healthcare quality requirements. Accordingly, we are CQC-registered and operate in compliance with global standards on security, service quality and patient care.
All of our policies, systems and entire management system are compliant with and accredited against worldwide standards on Information Security (ISO 27001) and Quality (ISO 9001).
Our platform has multiple layers of security and is compliant with worldwide standards in this area. It includes optimised pathways, which involve a combination of human and technology-based safeguards to ensure that our service is safe for users, and that prescriptions are given out only in line with what is appropriate and ethical for our patients.
We have a number of restrictions on the prescriptions we are able to provide patients using our service. Under GMC guidelines, we cannot and do not prescribe addictive tablets, such as slimming pills, and cannot fulfil patient requests for such prescriptions. Instead, we refer patients for face-to-face consultations with a GP.
