What we analyse
Is this assessment right for you?
This assessment may be right for you if you want a detailed overview of your health, have multiple concerns and are looking for clarity, or haven’t had a full health check in some time. It may also be suitable if you have a family history of chronic conditions, are over 40, or prefer a comprehensive evaluation over a single targeted test.
Why the Advanced Health Assessment is different
Many health checks focus on one area at a time. Our Advanced Health Assessment combines three clinical pillars to look across multiple systems and give you a complete and meaningful picture. Your results are reviewed together by our clinicians to provide clear answers and practical next steps tailored to you.
Your three-stage
Health Assessment
Venous blood testing
A broad range of biomarkers using hospital-grade sampling - allowing deeper and more reliable insight than home kits.
Professional measurements
Accurate blood pressure and BMI assessment taken in person.
Doctor-designed questionnaires
Capturing lifestyle, symptoms and long-term risk factors to provide essential context.
Find your pharmacy
Find a convenient pharmacy near you and book a time that fits your schedule. With 150+ locations across the UK, you’re likely to have one within a 30-minute journey.
Appointments are available within three working days, with evening and weekend options.
Why choose us
Our Advanced Health Assessment offers greater depth and breadth than most alternatives - without the complexity or cost of hospital-based screening.

What the Advanced Health Assessment checks
This assessment provides a broad and detailed overview of your health by assessing major systems linked to heart disease, metabolism, organ function, bone health and long-term risk. All results are interpreted together - not in isolation.
Includes a lipid profile (HDL and LDL cholesterol), blood pressure and QRisk3 Heart Age to assess cardiovascular risk.
Measures HbA1c and BMI to help identify metabolic risk and early indicators of diabetes.
Uses liver function tests and a renal profile to check how well your liver and kidneys are working.
Uses thyroid function tests to assess energy regulation and metabolic health.
Measures Vitamin D and a bone profile to assess bone strength and overall health.
Includes a full blood count, iron studies and high-sensitivity CRP to screen for anaemia and inflammation.
Uses structured questionnaires to assess diet, exercise, musculoskeletal health and mental wellbeing.

Advanced Health FAQs
You do not usually need to fast for this assessment unless advised otherwise. We recommend arriving well hydrated for your appointment, as this can make venous blood sampling easier.
Your questionnaire helps our clinicians build a complete picture of your health, so your results are interpreted in context and come with clear, personalised next steps.
Yes, you can reschedule up to 48 hours in advance of your appointment. To reschedule, please call the Doctor Care Anywhere Health Assessment PX team on 020 4646 9390. Lines are open between 9.00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
A trained pharmacy professional will take your physical measurements - such as blood pressure and BMI - and collect your blood sample in a private consultation room.
Appointments typically take around 15 minutes.
Measurements such as blood pressure and BMI provide essential context for your blood results, allowing us to give you more accurate and tailored advice.
Posting the sample directly helps speed up the process. Sending it immediately after your appointment reduces delays and helps ensure your results reach the laboratory as quickly as possible.
To support a more seamless process, we recommend you make a note on the Royal Mail tracking ID on the parcel - so you can track the progress of your sample.
Once you have posted your sample and completed your questionnaire, your personalised report will usually be available within five working days of your appointment.
