The smart way to control your health

Beacon Medical Group have partnered with Doctor Care Anywhere to offer virtual patient appointments. This new service gives Beacon patients the convenience of seeing a GP from wherever you are. Whether you’re at work or at home on the sofa, you simply log on for your appointment and speak to an experienced NHS doctor.

Signing Up

The sign up process only takes a couple of minutes to complete.

All you need to do is click on the sign up button and enter simple information like your date of birth, post code, phone number and email address on our website.

You’ll then have a Doctor Care Anywhere profile, which means you can download our app and be able to book appointments to see our GPs.

Download our app

The most convenient way of accessing Doctor Care Anywhere is through the Doctor Care Anywhere app.

Once you have created your DCA profile on our website, you can download our app below.

In the app you can both book appointments and have your consultation with a doctor.

Book an appointment

Booking an appointment with Doctor Care Anywhere only takes a minute. Just log on to the Doctor Care Anywhere website via your computer or through the app, find a time that works for you and book your appointment.

Please note, our appointments are available only on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Have a consultation

10 minutes before your appointment you will get an email and text reminder notifying you that your appointment is due to start.

All you have to do is logon to Doctor Care Anywhere using your computer or via our app on your smartphone or tablet, and you’ll be speaking to one of our experienced doctors.

After your consultation you’ll be able to read through our doctor’s jargon free notes so you’ll know exactly what you need to do to start feeling better.

A virtual consultation may not be suitable for all patients. If you are booking an appointment for an infant, or you have a condition that will require a physical examination, it is best to arrange to see your GP by phoning your practice.

Any patients who are under 16 will need to have a parent or guardian present for a virtual consultation.
